Job Description

THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS, WORKING 3 DAYS A WEEK, 8 HOUR SHIFTS.  THE HOURLY RATE IS $20.06.  CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EARLY MORNING SHIFT - 2:00 AM TO 10:00 AM. Warehouse workers are active throughout their day working independently using a voice-controlled system to select full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products using powered pallet jacks. The Order Selector is responsible for picking pallets/orders for stores based on prompts from a voice pick unit. The worker drives an electric pallet jack and walks up and down aisles in a warehouse to retrieve items from storage slots. Items are stacked on one of two pallets (called a cube) carried by the pallet jack. After the worker completes the route through the warehouse, and has completely filled the order, the cubes are transported to the loading dock, where shrink wrap is applied in preparation for transport.  You will palletize cases and prepare pallets to ship to your local store, all while being a safety champion.

Qualifications

• Repetitive lifting including bulk cases weighing 30 pounds to 100 pounds
• Comfortable operating pallet jacks and heavy warehouse equipment
• Able to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, stand and walk on your feet for an 8 hour shift
• Detail orientated and accuracy in case selection
• Reliable and punctual

Job Type: Part-time; additional work hours are frequently available. START TIME IS 2:00 AM. PAY: $20.06 PER HOUR BENEFITS: Grocery Discount Paid vacation/Paid Time Off Health Benefits package

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK AN EARLY MORNING 8 HOUR SHIFT, ANY DAY OF THE WEEK INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
