    JOB POSTING FOR PT TECHNICIAN 

    Integrity Rehab Group is searching for a Physical Therapy Technician for our outpatient clinic in [ENTER LOCATION]. The Physical Therapy Technician is responsible for assisting physical therapists with non-clinical tasks while caring for individuals. Physical therapy techs help move patients, keep treatment areas organized and clean, assist patients with light exercises and record progress for therapists. Responsible for all physical therapy equipment, the Physical Therapy Technician will set up and take down relevant equipment for Physical Therapist use during treatment sessions. They will also manage inventory and care for and maintain equipment. They must also maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

    SUMMARY:

    • The PT technician will report to a physical therapy manager.
    • The PT Technician will assist with patient prep and carrying out various non-clinical task.
    • The PT Technician is responsible for preparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas and obtainment of supplies.
    • The PT Technician is responsible for laundering and changing linens
    • The PT Technician may also be assigned routine clerical support tasks in support of the patient care process.
    • The PT Technician also performs other duties assigned by the physical therapist.

    REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

    • Participation in high school vocational program or high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Obtaining CPR and certifications.
    • Proficiency in the use of office equipment and computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Experience outpatient orthopedics and/or sports medicine preferred but not required.
    • Must be fluent in Spanish

  • Qualifications

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current ColoradoNursing License
    • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
    • Minimum of 1+ years experience in Pre-Op/PACU
    • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
    • Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
    • Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
    • Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
    • Excellent teaching skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change
    • Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology
