    POSITION: Production Manager

    POSITION TYPE: Full Time

    LOCATION: Detroit, MI

    HIGH LEVEL:

    This is an entry level position with responsibilities coordinating communication and sending collateral back and forth with clients for video production, possible on camera work, collecting and sending performance data on social networks to clients in weekly report, and functioning as a conduit of information between Benzinga team leader and clients. 

    WORK SCHEDULE:

    Full time, WFH optional up to 2 days per week. 

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    1. 60 percent of time will be spent funneling completed marketing projects, collateral, and data to clients and communicating with them directly for changes, edits, revisions, and further communication. 
    2. Role will not entail an intensive amount of decision making, guidelines for actions that need to be taken daily will be preset and systems will be established right away. 
    3. Role will most often include working with Benzinga video editing team to send completed projects for review to clients, communicating changes from client back to editing team, and sending collateral such as B-roll, assets, and answering questions from clients to the video team. 
    4. Other duties as needed or required : opportunity for on camera presentations, creative opportunities to find new arenas for our video content to be syndicated to.

     

    STUFF YOU NEED TO GET THIS GIG:

    1. Proficient at managing multiple projects at once, project manager type personality is ideal to adapt to changing informational fields and a high volume of communication. 
    2. Proficiency at Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Gmail, and project management platforms such as Asana is a bonus but not required - can be taught. 
    3. Being partially available on weekends is ideal - not required but being reachable in case of emergency or last minute changes that need to be communicated to the production team is key. 
    4. Must have the discretion and judgement to communicate politely and professionally with clients. Non-public information can and will be discussed and handled on a regular basis and cannot be shared outside the scope of the immediate client relationship.

     

    PREFERRED:

    1. On camera experience/ability great but not required, graphics/creative designer experience  and ability great bonus.
