    Description:

    As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you’ll play a role in driving the success of a fortune 1 retailer’s social media marketing tactics. 

     

    You will be part of a customer-obsessed team dedicated to delivering social tactics, training, and support that enables retail stores to manage a revolutionary social presence. You’ll help the client meet their business objectives by supporting field operatives leveraging social media to connect with their customers, developing and deploying marketing communications and app content, pulling and analyzing data for reporting purposes. 

     

    By taking on this role you'll gain valuable experience in understanding how to build social media marketing campaigns from the ground up, develop skills in report generation and data analysis, and understanding client relationships.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Creating and activating on marketing communications 
    • Leveraging tools and spreadsheets to consolidate and analyze data
    • Developing reports for the client
    • Driving participation and social media post quality by making documentation for the field 
    • Managing app content that educates and inspires field operatives
    • Product support for end users of a mobile application

     

    Requirements:

    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite and Google Suite skills
    • Ability to develop, communicate and successfully implement projects – working closely with cross-functional teams.
    • Effective time management skills - ability to prioritize and meet deadlines and follow-through.
    • Strong work ethic.  Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment.
