    The Job: Business Development Representative

    We are excited to be adding to our internal team and are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our business development team! The Business Development Representative will be a critical part of our sales process in gaining new business, setting meetings, and onboarding new clients.

    The right candidate will be a highly motivated and energetic career-oriented professional who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial team-oriented environment.     Total Compensation

    • Expected first year earnings of $45,000-$50,000 (base + commission)

    What You Will Be Doing as a Business Development Representative:

    • Develop and pursue new client relationships, through researching and identifying leads in various industries that Katapult serves
    • Use HubSpot, our internal CRM (customer relationship management) system, to manage client leads and develop new ones
    • Coordinate weekly direct mail and email programs
    • Call on new prospects, create rapport and conduct sales presentations
    • Assist with new strategies to drive business into Katapult
    • Drive sales and achieve budgeted sales goals in territory
    • Source new clients to build a book of business
    • Work directly with high-level clients including CEO's, Directors, and Presidents
    • Travel within the Twin Cities Metro to conduct client meetings
    • Responsible for proper pricing on invoices and contracts
    • Assist the Director of Business Sales and the Owner on any projects and client proposals as needed
