Description: Working under the direction of the Creative Services Director, the intern will have the opportunity to be involved and gain educational experience in the following Creative Service areas: Assisting in Creative Service shoots Writing, producing, shooting and editing of features, promos and vignettes Assisting with web content updates Blogging and Social Media updates Interns may also receive exposure to areas beyond Creative Services, including: Fundamentals of Creating Sales & Marketing presentations Engineering and broadcast operations Basic broadcast finance including the interrelationships of program acquisition, audience measurement and revenue generation Qualifications: Preferred: Ideal candidates will have a passion for television and strong creative/technical aptitude. Candidates should have a minimal understanding of video production techniques, applications and terminology. Excellent computer skills and communication skills (both written and verbal) Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels. This will be a paid eight week internship beginning in June and ending in August. If selected, intern must provide documentation from the Internship Advisor from the College or University certifying the student will earn academic credit for the successful completion of the internship program.
