Experience : 0 Description : # Fall 2018 CBS Sports Network Remote Production Intern REF#: 31389 CBS BUSINESS UNIT: CBS Sports Network JOB TYPE: Paid Intern JOB SCHEDULE: Part-Time JOB LOCATION: New York, NY ABOUT US: CBS Sports Network (CBSSN), the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, televises nearly 600 live events and over 3,000 hours of live programming every year including live college football, college basketball, and more from the MW, AAC, Big East, C-USA, A-10, Army, Navy, and the Patriot League. CBSSN is also the home to Professional Bull Riding and Arena Football League. CBSSN has become the extension of CBS Sports sharing talent and graphics as well as providing support coverage of every major event that CBS produces including Super Bowl 50, SEC football, NCAA Tournament, The Masters, and PGA Championship. DESCRIPTION: The Remote Production Intern will report to the Coordinating Producer - Remote Production and will be involved in observing edit sessions, viewing tape and performing research as needed. A strong interest in a future in sports production is a necessity. Intern responsibilities will include some or all of the following activities/assignments: * Complete and Submit Remote Production Music Cue Sheets. * Complete and Submit Team/Schools & Player Front End Graphics Requests. * Log Video in Dalet/Video Archive for preparation of Remote Production Edits. * Research Teams/Schools for LIVE Games. * Gather Team Logos and Photos for On-Air Graphics in LIVE Games. * Research Team/Player Notes & Statistics for LIVE Games. * Assist with other Remote Production Projects and Assignments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: * In some cases, solid knowledge and interest in sports, particularly college sports is required. * CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network Internships are paid at a standard competitive hourly rate, proper work authorization is needed to be employed within the United States. * Internships are in New York, NY. Selected students must be willing to relocate or commute at their own expense. * Internships are typically given to college juniors and seniors, though some departments also accept freshmen, sophomores or graduate students. Upon acceptance, we will require a letter from your school or transcript confirming you are a matriculated student. * Positions available from August - December.
