JOB SUMMARY:

We have an immediate opening for a Corporate Paralegal in our Corporate Office located in Birmingham, Alabama. The Corporate Paralegal reports directly to the Assistant General Counsel and will provide cross-functional support for the Development, Operations, Facilities, Legal and Accounting teams as required for the daily management and growth of the company. The Corporate Paralegal will:

• Assist in answering all responsive pleadings/document production involved in the case management of litigation matters.
• Assist with corporate filings and annual reports.
• Assist with preparation of business entity documentation.
• Create workflows to efficiently accomplish the foregoing tasks, with specific attention to paid to deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

• College degree or equivalent work experience as Paralegal.
• 1 – 2 years work experience as Paralegal with law firm or corporate legal department preferred.

Required Skills Required Experience

• Candidate must possess general clinical competency in acute patient care.

• Candidate must demonstrate ability to gather pertinent medical history and provide concise instruction for pre-operative and post-operative care.

• Previous ambulatory surgery experience is preferred.

• Current GA Registered Nurse license; BLS, ACLS & PALS
