Department and Position Overview: The Design Enablement team provides quality services to reduce technical debt, impact duration, time to deliver, and duplication of time and tooling. Through Design consultation DevOps teams are able to deliver their services on robust always-on platforms leveraging shared and cloud technologies. The Enablement function assists DevOps teams leveraging CI/CD to reduce time to deliver code. The team also provides the easy button to consume shared services. Through automation and orchestration we provide the capability for DevOps teams to consume database, compute, and patching services without the need for human or ticketing. Job Specification: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university - Majors: Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Science and Technology (IST), Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics. - 3.0 GPA or higher - Demonstrates solid decision-making skills - Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving ability - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and in group settings - Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications, cable and media industries - Git, Go, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or an equivalent - Experience or knowledge with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, GoCD, Concourse, Jenkins or an equivalent. - Current and future authorization to work in the United States of America - Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving ability - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and in group settings - Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications and media industries - Current and future authorization to work in the United States of America
