The Spectra Marketing Department is looking for a creative and driven individual that has a positive attitude and a desire to learn about the Venue Management and Food Service & Hospitality industry. The intern will have the opportunity to learn and create integral marketing pieces for Spectra corporate and the Spectra managed venues across North America and Canada. Responsibilities Conduct industry and market research and present findings. Assist in developing and implementing marketing and ad plans. Attend and participate in meetings which include brainstorming. Assist with copywriting and design of various marketing collateral. Assist with proof reading various marketing collateral. Learn to create and assist venues with Social Media ideas and content. Liaison with venue General Managers and RVPs on various marketing initiatives. Assist marketing department with daily office tasks. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Complete 15-20 paid hours per week. Additional hours may be available by managers approval. Must be able to receive credit for the internship. Junior undergraduate standing or above. A desire to work in the sports/entertainment and hospitality industry. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a plus. Strong writing and communication skills. Must be assertive, outgoing, creative, hard-working, resourceful, independent thinker who is greatly interested in working in Sports/Entertainment Marketing.
