    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Entertainment Editor, Allure and Teen Vogue Overview: The Talent Group at Condé Nast is seeking an Entertainment Editor that will be be responsible for casting and booking celebrity talent for photo shoots, covers and other special projects for Allure and Teen Vogue. Primary Responsibilities: * Map out its culture calendar and coverage--which consists of 12 Allure print covers, 4 Allure digital covers, and 12 Teen Vogue digital covers--by keeping a finger on the pulse in Hollywood, DC, and the Beauty Industry. * May have the opportunity to interview talent for upcoming releases but are mainly expected to contribute ideas and facilitate outreach to talent for any and all editorial requests including the Teen Vogue Summit, beauty portfolios, Allure's BOB Awards, and any other brand experiences that may arise throughout the year, i.e. 21 under 21, multiple CNE "franchise/blockbuster" series on YouTube (like "Compliment Battle" and "Playlist of my Life" for Teen Vogue and "Try 9 Things" with Allure), any underwritten/sponsored/branded opportunities, and various Teen Vogue "meet ups" across the country. * Scout, cast and book talent for covers, editorial shoots and CNE video content across Allure, Teen Vogue, and occasionally SELF * Book talent for Teen Vogue Summits and events * Run the @TalentGroup Instagram * Facilitate celebrity contacts and make introductions for the staff for phoners, quotes and other print/digital features. * Occasionally author both print and digital bylines * Forward contracts and releases to legal when necessary * Foster relationships with talent PR, management and agents * Manage talent (and PR) on photo and video shoots * Lock-in the talent lineup and work events as necessary (i.e. Teen Vogue Summit) * Work with PR and Social teams to guarantee celeb promotion on their channels * Secure talent for social media takeovers * Send issues to talent each month * Assist the branded team in brainstorming potential talent for paid content Desired Skills & Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years experience in photo shoot production and/or casting * Bachelor's degree * Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines * Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proven ability to manage relationships and drive process * Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities * Strong project management skills * Strong negotiation skills
