    Cox Automotive is hiring a Senior Analyst, Mergers and Acquisitions and Integration.

    The Senior Analyst, M&A & Integration is a critical position that executes the delivery and support for integration projects across Enterprise Finance & Accounting (EF&A), including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), from deal due diligence stage to integration and synergy through the close-out stage. This position reports directly to Senior Manager, M&A & Integration Owner and serves as a business enablement partner by engaging with business partners within the company on organizational needs, and by delivering seamless integrations of business units/companies into the Cox Automotive EF&A service delivery footprint.

    This position will be responsible for delivering all aspects of Cox Automotive M&A & Integration initiatives for EF&A. The scope includes Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Internal Controls, and Corporate Finance. This position will focus on centralization, standardization, and optimization across policies, process, data, reporting, systems security, compliance, and financial controls. This role will act as an EF&A point of contact for M&A governance, and will partner with Technology, People Solutions, Finance, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Real Estate, and Cox Automotive Business Units.

    The ideal candidate will have M&A integration, change management, governance, and communication experience in a global organization, with a track record of implementation.

    Responsibilities:

    Due Diligence (DD):

    • Point of contact for all stages of EF&A due diligence (DD)
    • Utilize DD playbook; ensure that project plans and work products are based on approved requirements
    • Participate in DD calls, provide status updates, escalate to stakeholders when / if necessary
    • Coordinate data room submissions and information sharing
    • Engage with key stakeholders across EF&A Centers of Excellence on findings
    • Quality of Earnings support and read-outs with assigned EF&A subject matter experts
    • Support EF&A budget requirements/inputs into deal-book
    • Support day-to-day activities of the M&A & Integration function

    Integrations:

    • Point of contact for all stages of EF&A integration
    • Support integration planning, utilizing integration playbook to ensure that project plans and work products are based on approved requirements
    • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop project plans, schedule resources, monitor and report progress, resolve issues, mitigate risk, and deliver organizational change grounded in people, process technology, and governance
    • Participate in integration calls, provide status updates, escalate to stakeholders when / if necessary
    • Update all process docs (workbook, RAID log, etc.). Build out and maintain integration repositories
    • Ensure the prioritization and balance of integration activities to minimize disruption of the existing business of the acquired company, while also driving changes to achieve committed synergies
    • Coordinate EF&A subject matter experts towards timely task and deliverables completion, while tracking issues and risks and developing remediation plans to quickly recover from timeline slippage
    • Support integration budget process, including creation, tracking, reporting, and measuring

    Organizational Development:

    • Support simultaneous integration initiatives, ensuring prioritization based on business needs and strategic objectives
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to support governance and business partner relationships, including shared objectives
    • Partner with Technology to build and support the deployment of ongoing roadmap of integration solutions
    • Works with internal and external auditors annually and/or as needed based on their requests for information
    • Perform special projects as required

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Accounting (or commensurate experience).
    • 5+ years of experience with continuous improvement, project management, and finance
    • 3+ years of accounting or finance experience required
    • 3+ years of M&A integration experience required, including deal due diligence
    • Big 4 experience a plus
    • Experience with project management - PMP a plus
    • Experience coordinating organizational change - including large scale transformation initiatives
    • Proven track record in successfully leading high performing teams with tight deadlines and improving efficiencies
    • Demonstrated financial analysis strength
    • Experience within a Center of Excellence environment a plus
    • Global experience in a multinational organization a plus
    • Strong influencing skills and ability to work in a matrixed environment
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure, and shift priorities quickly as required and rapidly adapt to changing environments
    • Ability to understand business strategy and translate into effective tactical plans
    • Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail
    • Strong computer skills and proficient use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials
    • Proven ability to work with all levels in the organization
