OVERALL SUMMARY - POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Global Commercial Finance Sr. Analyst is responsible for the overall financial management of our clients, their commercial agreement, reporting and general day-to-day activities. In addition, this role will focus on partnering and supporting the International Markets in relation to staff plans, service models, utilization as well as special projects. The Sr. Analyst supports the Global Commercial Client Finance team and the finance leads for all financial deliverables to clients, including reporting, reconciliations and staff plan reviews. The Sr. Analyst works closely with the various team leads across the organization and the sister agency finance teams to ensure financial elements of the client relationship are communicated, tracked, monitored and managed.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
FINANCE
- Support the Associate Director with preparation, management and compilation of all client financial deliverables pertaining to Contractual Reporting
- Responsible for consolidation, management and analysis of data and staff plans for International Markets for a Global Client along with necessary communications with Markets
- Work closely with the Markets and sister agencies in the U.S. to ensure their billing processes align to the client agreement
- Support efforts to manage client collections and ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports to account leads and finance teams
- Prepare and provide reporting on Staff Utilization as well as manage time keeping related process for the client teams
- Serve as the main contact and lead on management of T&E budgets and processes for the client globally
- Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
- Assist Directors of Global Commercial Finance and Global Commercial Finance team with special projects
- Provide proactive analytical support and other ad hoc financial analyses to the business leaders
- The role of the Sr. Analyst demands attention to detail that removes the possibility of careless errors
CLIENT & INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Develop and maintain relationships with agency personnel related to financial processes and deliverables
- Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to client teams related to client and job profitability
- Work with client teams to ensure revenue tracking systems are up to date
- Work closely with the client teams to stay abreast of changes and modifications to client budgets

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Required
- Minimum of 2 Years Experience in FP&A or Client Finance from an advertising/marketing/media/communications environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
- Superior organization abilities, strong attention of detail, and advanced project management/customer service skills
