    Job Description

    The Manager - Finance Business Partner provides financial and operational support to the leadership of our Vertical Markets (VM) and Service Lines (SL). You will have direct reporting line into a VP – Finance Business Partner, with a strong dotted line to the leadership of their dedicated line of business. This is a high visibility as it supports a business leader(s) who has a “seat at the leadership table” with their respective management teams.

    • Reviews and provides advice on strategic financial plans in partnership with business leaders to make key decisions and achieve targets

    • Analyses consolidated budgets and forecasts, and provides interpretation, insight and guidance • Identifies and drives operational improvement through analysis of financial plans, management information and performance

    • Works with business leaders to understand short, medium and long-term resource requirements and impact on forecasts and budgets

    • Supports analysis of client profitability and identifies and supports initiatives to improve profitability/margin

    • Supports the Operational Finance Director, Financial Controller and / or Market FD, as necessary with high quality and insightful analysis as requested. Works with these leaders to deliver impact with the business while implementing best practice financial planning techniques in line with business needs while supporting initiatives to improve the quality and consistency of business and finance data

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS from a four-year college or university and 5+ years of Financial Management, Finance and Operations Management, and Project Accounting experience.
    • Experience managing financial and business operations in a customer-focused service firm with multi-location structure.
    • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically with Excel.
    • Ability to build strong relationships and earn respect quickly across the organization.
    • Ability to collaborate with other functional groups such as Human Resources, Accounting and Sales Support, as well as to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action in a timely manner.
    • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents and respond effectively to the most sensitive issue
