    Job Description

    This role will support the identification, design and implementation of an overarching Finance Operating Model including the use of shared services via a mix of both outsourced and captive models as well as development of Centers of Excellence. The Transition Manager is a key role in supporting the delivery of the dentsu’s Finance Operating Model through execution of it’s Business Functions Optimization program. The Transition Manager will work closely with the Regional Director of Operational Finance & Finance Transformation Director, as well as senior Finance team in market to plan, manage and execute the transition of finance activities from the local market to the Shared Service Centre or Centre of Excellence delivering efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of the finance function. Successful projects are delivered on schedule, within approved scope, within defined budget, and at quality standards as governed using the transition methodology, while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Consideration of change, active stakeholder management and engagement will be required.

    This role will work on the development and implementation of the defined transformation initiatives, across the FOM. This role:

    • Provides effective project management of market transitions through implementation of agreed change management methodologies.
    • Maintains the market transition plan and builds out status reports as per the defined reporting cycles in the program
    • Plans, schedules, and monitors execution of project tasks
    • Actively identifies, prioritizes and mitigates projects risks and issues
    • Identifies project stakeholders, and communicates project progress, risks and issues regularly
    • Monitors project spend against approved budget, anticipates shortages, and resolves financial issues
    • Analyzes project internal/external dependencies to ensure that critical path is defined and maintained
    • Engages proactively with the market finance teams to ensure communications, HR & process changes are executively effectively
    • Engages proactively with the receiving service center to ensure resources are onboarded & trained appropriately as well as ensuring technology, infrastructure & governance plans are in place
    • Closes and transitions project to operations; verifies stakeholder satisfaction with project outcomes
    • Carries out project activities using a standard project management package
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Relevant track record operating within large, complex global organization's, that have navigated through shared service transformation programs delivering process optimization and operational excellence.

    • Qualified accountant with experience across finance towers, to ensure a holistic approach to the finance operating model.
    • Can do attitude and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration, influence and persuasion.
    • Resilient and an ability to navigate through complexity and large amounts of change.
    • Formal project management training including a Project Management certification (nice to have)
