LOCATION TO WORK

• MUST LIVE IN THE NYC AREA, AND BE WILLING TO COMMUTE INTO MID-TOWN NYC WEEKLY FOR A HYBRID POSITION.

TECH STACK KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEMS CORPORATE EXPERIENCE, POLYCOM, CISCO AND WEB BASED CAMERA SOLUTION EXPERIENCE, ALSO., APPLE MAC & WINDOWS PC CORPORATE EXPERIENCE, MS OFFICE 365.

AV Support Engineer will be working for some of the top media agencies in the US. dentsu owns a number of agencies in differing media disciplines. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology in a varied and challenging environment with a great deal of development potential.  

Someone who has worked in the media industry before would be ideal for the role. You will be required to work in the VIP team supporting high profile Video Conferences (within a Teams environment) for exec members of the business on a daily basis, support client pitches and events both onsite and offsite, as well as daily meeting room A/V health checks. 

You will also be required to meet the expectations of the role as defined below. 

Qualifications

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:_ _

Reporting into the Executive Support Lead, you will need to:  

• Work to a high standard to ensure availability of audio visual systems in break out areas and meeting rooms for business use. 
• You will have basic installation knowledge and a genuine interest in audio visual solutions. 
• Full operational and technical knowledge of audio visual systems 
• Strong customer focus and understanding of sensitivities of working at dentsu offices with clients and pitch presentation support. 
• A/V onsite installation experience of installing a range of equipment in a range of environments including projection, flat screens, interactive technologies, audio solutions, switching, scalers, extenders and digital signage 
• Willing to work outside of business hours (shift rota) to maintain and repair A/V equipment as required. 
• Ability to communicate knowledge and support across a number of technical and business departments. 
• Experience of rigging and de-rigging of audio and lighting systems. 
• Experience of supporting demanding VIP users 
• Rack building and wiring 
• Fault finding and diagnostics 
• High level of professionalism 
• Technical knowledge and install experience of Video Conferencing systems Polycom, Cisco and web based camera solutions 
• Technical knowledge and install experience of AMX/Crestron  
• PC skills and programming of touch panels 
• Ability to follow cable schedules & risk and method statements 
• Engineering health and safety training and knowledge 
• Knowledge and understanding of Video Conference software such as Teams, Zoom and Webex

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS_ _

• 2 years’ hands-on experience of Microsoft desktop environments 
• 2 years’ hands-on experience of Apple Mac hardware and Mac OS 10.8 – 12.3

GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Windows 10 OS 
• Microsoft Office 365 & Teams 
• Internet Explorer/Chrome web browsers 
• Hardware and Peripherals 
• Mobile devices

USEFUL SKILLS_ _

• Microsoft Teams Meetings/Live Events 
• Audio visual systems (TV/Projector systems)

THE ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS $60K TO $70K. SALARY IS BASED ON A WIDE RANGE OF FACTORS THAT INCLUDE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OTHER JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS, AND GEOGRAPHY.  A RANGE OF MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, 401(K) MATCHING, PAID TIME OFF, AND/OR OTHER BENEFITS ALSO ARE AVAILABLE.
