We are DISH.The DISH Retail Wireless Technology team is seeking a Service Continuity Analyst who will assist in the implementation and maintenance of the organization’s business continuity program, ensuring efficiency and reliability are built into all operational activities. Working within the IT organization and reporting to the Service Continuity Manager, you will collaborate with several multi-functional teams inside the Retail Wireless Technology organization. This position also champions business resiliency throughout the organization and serves as an escalation contact during significant events. Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:Ownership of the service assurance and continuity of Dish Retail Wireless technologiesStrategic documentation development of business disruption response strategiesCoordination of event responsesOversight and efficient notification of plan maintenance and testing processesInteraction with various parties, both internal and externalCompleting month-end KPIs, dashboard, general reporting and compliance through graphical displays for critical measures to accurately convey process performanceProactively develop data collection methodologies and analytic approaches to perform drill down analysis regarding process performance and improvement projects, reporting requirements, provide recommendations, and present findings from analysis including post-mortem root cause analysisA successful Service Continuity Analyst will have the following:2-3 years of business continuity planning/testing/analysis experienceSelf-starter mindset with the ability to multitask between concurrent assignments, prioritize and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.Analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in generating insights and recommendations, comfortable dealing with data, including financials and critical IT metricsExpertise in Excel including pivot tables; business analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau; incident response tools such as Pagerduty or OpsgenieFlexible scheduling including nights and weekends on an on-call basis Preferred Skills:Familiarity with both mobile network operators and cloud technology required Outage and incident management experience is a plusKnowledge of ServiceNow
