This includes Data Center networks, Wide Area and Metro Area networks, wireless, end-user LANs, Firewalls, WAN acceleration, application load-balancing and a wide array of supporting technologies. Automation group of the Network team is accountable to simplify and automate network deployment, provisioning, optimize and develop auto healing solutions to faster event recovery -Responsibilities:A Day in the Life Multiple automation projects are in flight and you, as the intern, would get the opportunity to be engaged in the existing projects, contribute to the project and learn in a fun filled environment! There will be numerous training opportunities on network technologies, automation and access to learning libraries. This intern will be encouraged to be creative and develop solutions to real business problem, and will have an opportunity to develop, test and release the solution to production and explore the end to end life cycle. Solutions developed by our previous and existing interns are successfully released into production and are solving real business problems! -Basic Qualifications:What we are looking for -Passion to learn is the key qualification along with theoretical understanding of the networking concepts around LAN, WAN, routing, and switching. -Knowledge of scripting platforms like Python is a must. Experience with scripting-based projects is a huge plus -Required Education -Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program -Pursuing or recently obtained (within 6 months) Bachelor's or Master's Degree in IT, Computers, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related field -About The Walt Disney Company (Corporate): At Disney Corporate you can see how the businesses behind the Companys powerful brands come together to create the most innovative, far-reaching and admired entertainment company in the world.
