Responsibilities: The Undergraduate Intern, Enterprise Architecture will assist with information gathering as well as researching and investigating technical material / emerging technologies. You will also assist with report writing, project tracking, and project management. Youâ??ll also get exposure to different business lines and project streams by engaging with various Disney teams across business segments and geographies. As a self-starter youâ??ll get to work on your effective and proactive communications as well as prepare for, lead and participate in project and program meetings. * Coordination and organization of bi-monthly Enterprise Architecture Newsletter, facilitating topic generation meetings and driving submission and publication of content * Participate in working groups and community forums â?? take meeting minutes and follow up on actions which may sometimes include facilitating mini work sessions. * Research, synthesize, write-up, and present on technical material, emerging technologies, and technology strategy * Support Enterprise Architecture projects & programs â?? activities range from gathering and reporting metrics to identifying and executing on continuous improvement opportunities Basic Qualifications: What we are looking forâ?¦ * Technical Aptitude * MS Office Applications * Computer Knowledge * Aptitude for technical language and materials * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Excellent attention to detail * Strong planning, scheduling, and organization skills * Presentation skills both in compiling and presenting * Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and good customer management skills Preferred Qualifications: * Interest or knowledge of computer science * Interest or knowledge in enterprise technology architecture * MS Project or other similar Project Management Software * Desire to learn and research technical materials * Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies * Producing requirements & specification documents Required Education * Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program * Currently pursuing an MIS (Management Information Systems), CIS (Computer Information Systems), or technology engineering degree Additional Information: * The approximate dates of this internship are January 2019 through April 2019 * Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship * Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program * Must possess unrestricted work authorization * Must be at least 18 years of age About The Walt Disney Company (Corporate): At Disney Corporate you can see how the businesses behind the Companyâ??s powerful brands come together to create the most innovative, far-reaching and admired entertainment company in the world.
