The Lodging Finance Team is a key partner to the business. The Team provides the operations team with day-to-day finance support, short and long-term financial planning, and input on new business initiatives. The Team monitors key performance indicators and other business metrics, advising operations leadership so they can make informed decisions to manage their business. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst. This role will report to the Manager of Finance, Disneyland Lodging. The Financial Analyst will work directly with Lodging leadership. The role requires someone who will actively partner with operations leaders to help them drive their business, find solutions, and maximize value. The individual must be highly motivated, curious, and always willing to take initiative. The person most likely to succeed in the role will be someone who champions the Disney brand, is is eager to learn the business, and develop into a valued thought partner. Responsibilities: * Provide financial planning, reporting, and operations finance support for hotel operators * Develop ad hoc analyses for operators, finance, other areas * Liaise with Disneyland FP&A, other Parks & Resorts finance and non-finance areas and respond to information requests or obtain information * Assist with development of pro formas and business cases for hotels business Basic Qualifications: * Demonstrated computer proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Demonstrated problem solving skills * Demonstrated strong communication skills * Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: * 0-3 years of experience * Experience in a client-facing role * Proactiveness in managing deadlines and deliverables * Strong sense of accountability and ownership of his/her responsibilities * Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate persuasively and deliver effective messages to the targeted audience * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships * Flexibility, relentlessness, and eagerness to learn * General accounting close and reporting * SAP * Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Required Education * Bachelorâ??s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance Preferred Education * CPA and/or MBA About Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products: The Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products segment includes Disneyâ??s iconic travel and leisure businesses, which include six resort destinations in the United States, Europe and Asia, a top-rated cruise line, a popular vacation ownership program, and an award-winning guided family adventure business.
