Talent Casting Coordinator - Talent Casting, Contracts and Booking Job ID 575266BR Location Anaheim, California, United States Business Disneyland Resort Date posted 07/29/2018 This Talent Casting Coordinator position based at the Disneyland Resort is an hourly administrative role supporting the Disney Parks Live Entertainment Talent Casting, Booking and Contracts team in the areas of auditioning, booking talent, contacting, contracting, scheduling and tracking professional talent and character performers. Responsibilities * The Talent Casting Coordinator is responsible for providing great client service as well as strong administrative support for Casting and Booking Directors, and for the Talent Casting leadership team. * Through close collaboration with the entertainment operating areas, as well as with event and convention production teams, and creative partners, the Talent Casting Coordinator is responsible for communicating extensively and professionally via phone and email with internal and external talent, and with multiple work teams. * Duties include receiving, previewing and logging promotional material, organizing and processing documentation with focus on the convention/special event business, and generating ongoing reporting as it related to Talent Casting, Booking and Contracts metrics. Basic Qualifications * Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high pressure, fast-paced environment * Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication abilities, including proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail, and professional telephone etiquette in communicating with talent agents, managers and talent * Strong computer proficiency within a Windows environment, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project * Willingness to learn new software applications specific to the Casting & Booking Department * Ability to execute assigned tasks while keeping team current/informed of progress/status * Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills * Demonstrated experience providing great Guest Service * Proven ability to handle confidential information Preferred Qualifications * Minimum 3 yearsâ?? experience in Entertainment * Proven experience and strong understanding of the terms and conditions of the WDP&R Collective Bargaining Agreements (STCU, AGVA, Actors Equity Association, American Federation of Musicians & SAG) * Ability to formulate data into reporting format * Understanding and knowledge of contract language and processing * Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Required Education * High School Degree or equivalent Preferred Education * Bachelorâ??s degree in an Arts/Entertainment field or equivalent About Disneyland Resort: When Walt Disney opened Disneyland on July 17, 1955, he said he hoped it would be â??a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.â??
