The DTSS Digital Media Agency (DDM) helps The Walt Disney Company segments and business units build, maintain, and operate digital media properties by partnering in all phases of development (strategy through launch and operations). By providing a wide range of consulting services throughout the product lifecycle, we guide business units through the relevant TWDC standards, requirements, and compliance processes, ensuring best practices are followed. Our services include: business strategy/analysis, project management, requirements development, RFP/vendor selection, SOW/contract best practices, creative/user experience, technology consulting, solution evaluation/selection, hosting evaluation/selection, security best practices, Web analytics, SEO, once engaged we continue working with the customer for the life of the product. Responsibilities: A Day in the Life... * Help to generate ideas and designs that meet existing brand and style guidelines, while marrying business needs, guest needs and innovation that support developed goals. * Perform design, business and UX research for projects at the direction of the Lead UX designer. * Creation and design of UX deliverables, ranging from interactive wireframe simulations, sitemaps and creative web design layouts. Design additional deliverables, which may also include interactive elements, PDFs, videos and edited images. * Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external teams and work collaboratively with team colleagues, internal and external partners. * Contribute new ideas to current and upcoming projects that help meet the needs of clients, as well as create the simulations and graphics to depict these ideas as well as present them. * Assist in the development, execution and analysis of usability and accessibility testing. Basic Qualifications: What We Are Looking For... * A strong design portfolio demonstrating breadth and experience in information architecture, interaction design, visual design work, and a thorough understanding of user-centered design process. * Demonstrated expertise of graphic and UX design applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud and/or basic wireframing software (ie: Axure) in order to produce layouts and manipulate images. * Strong design presentation skills. * Working knowledge and familiarity of HTML5 and CSS3. * Be innovative, enthusiastic, flexible and creative. * Take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion * Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced corporate enterprise environment. * Be able to work independently and focus on projects as well as work and communicate well with other team members.
