We are a production company based in Atlanta producing everything from original programs, documentaries and digital content for brands. We cover areas from lifestyle, travel, sports and social justice. We have an Emmy Award winning team and specific brand style of shooting. If you are a recent college grad or someone who has been trying their hand creating kickass content on Youtube or Vimeo, then lets talk! We are accepting only one apprentice photojournalist for an entry level year-long commitment. *Opportunities begin immediately. *It is a freelance (non-regular) gig. You must have a flexible schedule, your own transportation, as assignments may come in with no-less than a weeks notice. *Valid Passport is required - many of our assignments are international jobs. * You must be physically able to carry all of your gear plus work up to 8-14 hours days. *Most jobs may require physical activity, such as hiking, being on a boat, swimming and more. The best candidates will be those who are adventure seeking along with being creative. WOMEN are strongly encouraged to apply! Primary duties will include: *video shooting *still photography * video and audio logging *video editing We will train you on our shooting technique and style and also: *interviewing *script writing *production coordinating *field producing An understanding of digital video creation, social media, blogging will help the candidate flow between the range of the long-form and digital platforms we product for.Your own video equipment is preferred, but not required. You will be required to have your own computer with editing software. This begins as an unpaid position through training, then progresses to a pay-per-assignment gig.
