    This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Buried Piping Product Line Manager in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Buried Piping Solutions Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

    • Provide leadership and direction to product line team members to include Engineering and Operations

    • Propose and execute R&D and Capital projects to meet group objectives

    • Provide support to IB-Sales organization as required for business development

    • Ensure readiness of personnel and equipment for all projects

    • Ensure adequate staffing levels and development of resources to support current and future projects with expected growth

    • Maintain measures for team performance – correct adverse trends and reinforce positive performances

    • Review of project performance, with support of assigned PMs, to ensure execution IAW established schedule and budget

    • Support commercial close-out of completed projects

    • Consistent communication with Customers to develop strong relationships

    • Interface with internal and external organizations as required to support Structural Liner Qualifications and Relief Requests

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $143,000 - $202,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

    JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Harvesting Supervisor
    • Understand principles of proper harvesting.
    • Ability to accomplish work on time and correct errors.
    • Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment, appear for work on time, follow directions, interact well with co-workers, understand, and follow posted work rules/procedures and accept constructive criticism.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changes when needed while still minimizing cost and assuring quality.
    • Ability to take action at times without the opportunity to consult with Harvesting Director.
    • Mastery of all aspects of a supervisor’s job, including crew supervision, quality, hiring and discharging of bargaining unit employees, scheduling and field haul scheduling.
    • Ability to maintain a positive work environment.
    • Fluent in all aspects of Spanish and adequate verbal English.
    • Excellent top-to-top communication skill, with internal groups (Sales) and external groups (growers and business representatives)
    • Excellent knowledge of harvesting equipment and capabilities.
    • Excellent judgment regarding future product quality while preparing estimates.

    PHYSIC _ AL REQUIREMENTS:_

    • Ability to work in various weather conditions
    • Ability to walk in uneven ground
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to climb on and off harvesting equipment
    • Ability to travel to various harvesting locations and relocate

    WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to work long hours and work 7 days a week when necessary.
