As a 2018 Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoring along with participation in team projects, community service events, social outings, and professional development seminars. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 4th, 2018 and conclude on August 10th, 2018. Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. An intern should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value. Job Summary: Intern will work alongside Product Support Team who manage all internal and external escalation support for assigned new or existing products and/or services. They work with product management, operations, sales and client services leaders to ensure information, processes, support, and documentation are provided on on-going bases. General Duties & Responsibilities of a Product Support Representative: Provides product escalation support for Clients by resolving with Client Service representatives on complex inquiries. Responds to product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions. Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters. Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment or software applications and recommends corrective action. Documents Client information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development Recreates client issues in test environment, identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes Resolves Client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters. Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily activities. Work with other leaders internally to plan, and execute on existing and new product / service plans Supports internal leaders in answering/ researching product /service functionality questions Provides input to help expand product adoption and create value added services for internal and external customers Supports the conversion of product ideas/ concepts into viable business cases and strategy statements with clear and achievable objectives Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Applicant must be currently enrolled in collegiate coursework at an accredited university with a graduation date in or prior to May 2019 Seeking degrees in Finance, Marketing, General Business, MIS or Technology Displays good written and oral communication skills. Demonstrates strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office. Additional skills, knowledge, and experience may be required based on the type of functions the incumbent will perform. Entry level role. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency. Generally performs single-function tasks that tend to be of small to moderate size and scope. Works under close supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through experience. Typically does not require prior related experience.
