    Treasury Intern - Job ID #: JR40556 - Functional Area: Graduate & Internships - Position Type: Intern or Other Job - Relocation Provided: No - Travel Percentage: 0.00 - Primary Location: US-Florida-Jacksonville 601 Riverside Ave-1199 - Secondary Location(s): - Department: - Education Desired: High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience Desired: Graduate/Intern - Position Responsibilities equirements: GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Research banking issues as necessary - Review daily cash management process - Assist to resolve cash issues in a timely manner - Provide data to internal departments as necessary - Assists in maintaining bank account balances - Compile cash reports as necessary - Assist in the execution of daily cash concentration and borrowing - Assists with preparation of monthly reports - Assists with cash forecasting - Assists with the implementation/maintenance of the treasury workstation - Maintains treasury files electronic and paper - Assists with the preparation of Capital Committee meetings EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Working towards Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner - Knowledge of cash management activities and financial analysis along with the ability to understand and apply concepts - Knowledge of general accounting principles, financial statements, practices and procedures as well as banking functions - Skill in analytical and statistical examination for complex problem solving - Ability to create complex spreadsheets and demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, accounting, reporting and other related software - Ability to prepare financial reports - Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, plan and work in an organized manner and rely on sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals - Ability to handle stressful situations - Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality - Ability to handle daily responsibilities and special projects simultaneously - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and the public JOB SUMMARY: Assists in the Treasury.
