This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3, 2019 and conclude on August 9, 2019. Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. As an intern, you should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned byan experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value. General Duties & Responsibilities: - Performs analyses of the business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment for appropriate FIS segment, division, group or line of business. - Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager or project leader. - Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency. - Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner. - Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices. - Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability. - Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations. - Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities. - May perform special projects upon request and on occasion. Qualifications: - Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree in a related field of study - Displays good written and oral communication skills - Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of MS Office - Ability to work in one of FIS strategic locations for the duration of the internship - GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher - Additional skills, knowledge, and experience may be required based on the type of functions the incumbent will perform.
