As a 2019 Summer Intern with FIS, you will benefit from on the job training and mentoring along with participation in team projects, community service events, social outings, and professional development seminars. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 3rd, 2019 and conclude on August 9th, 2019. Interns will receive the opportunity to build professional relationships and enhance their interpersonal skills. An intern should expect to own the following roles and responsibilities: Contribute individually and/or as a team member to support a designated functional area, analyze business processes, and work towards goals and objectives assigned by an experienced manager. Interns will also interact with and support business partners and participate in projects that directly impact business value. About the team Corporate-Mergers and Acquisitions What you will be doing You will participate in 75% of Corporate Development and 25% Investment Finance. During the program, you will learn about the FIS corporate structure and how the Mergers and Acquisitions team works within corporate. - Gain familiarity with the applications and tools used at FIS to conduct day-to-day business - Identify opportunities to enhance company efficiency - Seek opportunities for increased responsibility and challenging assignments What you bring: - Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing a degree in a related field of study.
