The mission of the Facebook Risk and Payments team is to enable anyone, anywhere to be able to pay and be paid with confidence. This can mean different things across our many payments products - from providing support to advertisers who need help paying their bill, helping charities onboard to receive donations, to identifying and resolving fraudulent games purchases. Our Program Management team is responsible for building a risk and support strategy and project plan for new products leveraging payments at Facebook. We partner with multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Ops, Analytics, Legal, Policy, and Finance to ensure new products successfully launch and succeed. Program Management helps determine data and tool infrastructure needs to support and protect the product and its customers, as well as influences product development as the voice of the user. Weâ??re looking for a rising second-year MBA student to spend a summer on the team, responsible for working on any and all operations related to Program Management at Facebook. Who are you? Responsibilities * Your summer assignment will be pivotal to the improvement of our state-of-the-art operations platform to keep fraud off of Facebook and enhance the experience of the payers, advertisers, and partners on our site. Our needs are constantly evolving and weâ??ll present you with a choice of projects which play to your strengths. * Grow your expertise in core risk and support infrastructure, tools, systems, and data. * Work with project leaders to develop best practices and production processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment. * Collaborate with our Risk and Payment Operations Teams in determining Risk & Support requirements that allow new products to scale. * Engage with the various teams to identify, scope, constraints, dependencies, risk management and deliver global projects. * Support efforts with key cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, Design, Policy and others during design, build, launch, and expansion phase of product life cycle * Develop, monitor and analyze product and operational health metrics throughout launch phases. Minimum Qualifications * Currently enrolled in United States accredited Masters or MBA program with graduation dates between December 2019 and August 2020 * 2+ years of experience in a Project or Program Management environment * 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams * 2+ years of experience working in operations or customer experience * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Permanent U.S. work authorization required as company sponsorship is not available We're proud to be the #1 Best Place to Work on Glassdoor's Employees' Choice awards.
