INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW Were looking for a dynamic MBA Intern to support our fast-paced and rapidly expanding Crop Marketing business. This position is a leadership and mentorship position responsible for phone-based inside sales and customer support professionals. Its an opportunity to contribute to the growth of an industry changing, AgTech company and develop the companys future talent. The ability to consume analytics and utilize data to guide business objectives is essential. As a Crop Marketing Intern, you will play a key role as a member of our growing business development and business operations function. In this role, you will partner with the Crop Marketing team, including merchandisers and business unit leader, serving as a strategic thought partner in helping them to tackle their highest priority strategic questions. Key Responsibilities Partner with business unit owners to help them answer critical strategic and business development questions Drive high impact analysis to generate strategic insight and support decision-making with business unit partners Quarterback data reporting and analytics initiatives to support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization Independently own workstream, with limited supervisor direction and oversight, including: framing problem and approach, scoping and performing analysis, and packaging and communicating recommendations in a compelling way Analyzing strategic initiatives and performing new market research Minimum Qualifications: 3-6 years of total work experience, including at least 2 years experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, or equivalent experience in private equity, VC, or strategy/ operations position at a fast-growing technology company Currently in progress to complete MBA or other analytically-oriented advanced graduate degree. Bachelors degree required. Demonstrated outstanding academic performance and analytical aptitude, exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills High EQ and capable of building strong relationships up, down, and sideways in the organization Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain complex issues to a range of audiences Deadline-oriented, organized, and able to multitask Relentlessly resourceful and able to drive projects with guidance from supervisor Passionate about Agriculture and FBNs mission, ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines Knowledge of agricultural source industry, specifically grains, oilseeds, and pulse crops and their relationships with commodity, derivative, and end consumer markets Preferred Qualifications: Hands on farming, merchandising, or trading house work experience in the agriculture industry Experience with sales cold-calling Experience in a startup environment
