    THIS FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT POSITION IS LOCATED IN FRESNO, CA., AND INCLUDES BOTH IN-OFFICE AND REMOTE WORK OPPORTUNITY.     POSITION SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, Epic Registration/Scheduling Trainer I is responsible for developing and delivering effective end-user training for Epic applications while maintaining high post-class survey scores.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    • Train end users the practical skills needed to carry out work-related tasks and ensure training requirements meet appropriate training track for new users
    • Develop, update and ensure availability of training materials relevant to client operations, including but not limited to Training Manuals, Quick  Reference Guides, Weekly FYI Newsletter content, and continuing education
    • Develop communication materials/methodologies/webinars related to software updates and enhancements
    • Responsible for Help Desk cases that are escalated
    • Provide “elbow-to-elbow” client support during Go-Live process
    • Maintain training calendar, including student, room, and instructor assignments
    • Identify potential training gaps/issues and work with other members of the training team to resolve. 
    • Attend all required meetings and training
    • Ensure all activities support the PNA mission statement
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

     

    1. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Undergraduate Degree preferred, 2+ years’ experience working in healthcare environments, instructor led software training or adult education; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

    2. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Knowledge of basic principles of adult learning
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must demonstrate excellent spelling and grammar in all written materials.
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Exceptional time management skills
    • Accuracy and attention to details
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and demands
    • Ability to use logic and common sense to make appropriate and consistent decisions
    • Ability to handle frequent change in a dynamic environment

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
