Great Plains Communications is looking for a detail-oriented person to fill the position of Accounts Receivable Associate at our Blair, Nebraska headquarters.

Duties include:

• Processing customer payments
• Processing and reconciling electronic bank deposits
• Crediting deposits and electronic payments
• Processing insufficient funds checks, write-offs, and recoveries of uncollectible accounts
• Maintaining cash drawer and autopay accounts
• Assisting with other accounting functions as needed

Knowledge of accounting principles, and experience with cash handling and reconciliations is required.  Successful candidate must have strong computer skills including experience with Excel, written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work independently.

Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, plus 2 to 3 years experience is desired.
