AN OVERVIEW: We are looking for a Visual Merchandising Designer to join our Retail Visual Merchandising team. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Visual Merchandising Designer is responsible for concept development and solution execution of visual merchandising solutions for the Hallmark specialty retail network. Working with the Visual Manager, you will develop a variety of compelling visual display solutions and graphic signage necessary to implement a consistent program across the many sizes and layouts of retail stores. You must possess strong creative design skills, visual merchandising expertise, product presentation techniques, and the ability to understand and apply Hallmarks retail strategy. Consumer insights, category expertise, understanding of the retail environment, operational acumen, fixture knowledge, and awareness of industry trends and norms are also required. You will produce work that aligns to Hallmarks retail strategy and accurately and consistently reflects the design direction for each period and program. You must have the ability to produce a variety of solutions that not only enhance and support the specific product offerings, but also convey a compelling and consistent consumer experience in line with overall brand and retail strategies. You will be responsible for executing graphic strategies while also focused on providing total solution output - visual merchandising, graphic design, mock-ups for physically setting displays, etc. Interested?
