Responsibilities Hexagon PPM is seeking a Development Intern to support our Hampton, Virginia office! Under direct supervision, the intern will be responsible for the development and support of a custom installation tool for structural CAD catalog content. The intern will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Primary responsibility will be in application development, but database development may also be requested depending on the skills of the intern. Technologies include C#.NET, VB.NET, WPF using XAML, and SQL Server. Intern must possess a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and must have some experience with application development. Intern will work closely with catalog product owners and test engineers to ensure all requirements are met. Intern must be able to work well in a team environment where there is a high degree of collaboration among team members. Adherence to coding standards, software configuration management, and IT management processes including change management, source control, and release management is required. Good documentation skills are expected. Qualifications Must be working towards Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar field. Minimum of 1 year of application development experience with a .NET programming language is required. This can consist of school projects, personal projects, and/or real work experience. Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. Experience with WPF, XAML, SQL Server, and/or XML is preferred.
