Team Role: Intern Software Engineer, Music Lab Department: iHeartMedia Inc. Analytics Engineering Team The Music Lab Intern will participate in the ongoing build-out of the Music Lab product: · Develop an application using Amazon Web Services. · Build integrations to internal and 3rd party data sources relating to Music Performance · Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Scrum, CI/CD, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Coding standards, Documentation Practices, Refactoring and Testing Techniques. · Apply data science principles specific to the lifecycle of songs and programming the most popular radio stations in the country. To join the Team you will need the following experience: 1. Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field. 3.0 GPA (strongly preferred) 2. Proficient in Javascript (React and/or Node.js). 3. Knowledge and experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies and experience building RESTful web services. 4. Solid understanding of Cloud technologies, distributed systems, modern operating systems and networking. 5. Must be able to work in an agile development environment and comfortable managing shifting priorities. 6. A great attitude and hunger for learningand an ability to work within a team environment 7.
