    JOB DESCRIPTION FOR DIGITAL EVENTS SUPPORT INTERN

    We are currently seeking a Digital Events Support Intern to support an experienced events staff. This is an exciting time to learn from a team that traditionally organizes in-person corporate events and trades shows and who has successfully pivoted to running virtual events for large corporate clients. This intern will be responsible for event support during these events in coordination with the event leader. Training will be provided on the specifics of the role, so if you've used Zoom, Google Meet, or other virtual conferencing platforms, you could be a fit for this role! This internship may run anywhere between 5 and 30 hours per week depending on the individual and does not have a predetermined end-date.     RESPONSIBILITIES FOR DIGITAL EVENTS SUPPORT INTERN

    • Provide client support during live events
    • Assist events team in handling details of virtual corporate events
    • Support team with administrative needs

    • Problem-solving— creatively develop new solutions to challenges or questions without being afraid to take strategic risks
    • Social perceptiveness—be aware of other people's reactions and understand why they react the way they do. Maintain a positive, friendly composure even in difficult situations
    • Customer service orientation—proactively assist clients in a professional, friendly manner in order to create the best possible experience by building relationships, understanding quality standards for service, and utilizing customer needs assessments
    • Social facility—comfortable meeting new people and building networks with people at all levels in an organization as well as interfacing with the public

    REQUIREMENTS FOR DIGITAL EVENTS SUPPORT INTERN

    • Currently seeking a bachelor's degree
    • Familiar with virtual conferencing platforms (i.e. Zoom, GoogleMeet, Skype, ect...)
    • Must be able to work in the office and comply with COVID safety policies
