  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for enthusiastic correspondents that will help us spread the news about Kicker. There are 3 main responsibilities:

    1. READ and SHARE Kicker content in social media - Engage with Kicker leadership, give us feedback, suggestions, & ideas

    2. PROMOTE Kicker - Participate in challenges & projects, like getting new Kicker readers, distributing swag and hosting our social media accounts. Yes, you can live tweet for Kicker!

    3. WRITE AND PUBLISH commentary pieces on Kicker - Maybe there are specific issues you care deeply about & you want to move others to care about them too. Maybe you aspire to a life of journalism, education, or social activism. Or maybe you just wish your peers were more informed & want to inspire them. If this is you, let Kicker be your megaphone.

  • Qualifications

    You are:

    • An experienced, savvy user of multiple social media platforms
    • Comfortable engaging with people on campus about Kicker through contests and events
    • Someone who loves the idea of getting experience at a growing startup media brand
    • Passionate about being informed and helping others get there too!
  • Desired skills

    Great communicator, social media native, comfortable working virtually, enthusiastic self-starter!

  • Compensation
    The campus rep role is not paid, but what you will get is experience working with a real startup on real initiatives. We are out to make news engaging and actionable and we want your help! We do offer swag (tshirt/stickers) and will have contests with prizes for things like getting new fans for Kicker.
