    Financial Analyst II Location: Lowell - Massachusetts - USA Function: G&A Ref #: 2019000735 - Description Job Summary: This position provides financial support to the Companys corporate business functions, including G&A, Marketing, and Engineering. The individual will work closely with and receive guidance from the Corporate Finance Team members as well as work with functional leadership. This person will assist with budgets and planning, forecasts, and ongoing reporting and analysis. The role interacts closely with various individuals from executive management to administrative support; the successful candidate possesses a broad understanding of accounting concepts along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Major duties: ? Provides business support and participates in the planning and development of the annual budget for G&A, Marketing, and Engineering. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing historical data, trending future requirements, variance analysis, reporting and communicating results to the business and financial management. ? Participates in the monthly close process, including journal entry preparation, detailed account analysis related to Consulting, Maintenance Contracts, Program Spend, Headcount, Software Capitalization, and Capital Expenditures as required, as well as creation and distribution of monthly reporting packages tied to reporting deadlines. ? Partners with functional business leads and finance personnel to develop monthly operating expense forecasts, headcount analysis, and capital forecasts. Maintains ongoing communications with groups supported to review actual financial results and discuss forecast submissions. Provides insightful budget versus actual versus forecast analysis and highlights deviation from plan. ? Develops, maintains, updates, and improves models used for budget vs. actual analysis, forecasting, and headcount analysis for groups supported. Analyzes data by various functional products, groups, and geographies. ? Prepares ad hoc reporting and operational analysis, tracks and prepares metrics, models business scenarios, and assists with account analysis and audit requests as required. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting is required. 1-2+ years of Financial Analyst/Accounting experience at a large, multi-national company or public accounting firm Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and analyze significant amounts of data Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with budgeting tools, data warehouses and large-scale ERPs (Host Analytics, Cognos, and Oracle a plus) Strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to retain and organize information Exemplifies initiative, intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn and improve and contribute to the success of the organization Strong business orientation, excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and resilient in the face of challenges and evolving processes/technology Corporate overview Youre empowered when youre a Kronite.
