Job Purpose: The Strategic Initiatives intern will work on business / competitive analysis to help the team understand the current state of Edge Compute services landscape. This information will be used to help define/refine Limelights Edge Compute offering. The position will be located in Burlington MA. Intern will work Monday through Friday flexible hours during the fall. Essential Functions: * Perform competitive analysis on the major public cloud providers and niche cloud providers to obtain a detailed understanding of Edge Compute offerings. Analysis will include high-level technical description of the offering; target use-cases and pricing and packaging. * Present findings in a series of group presentations. * Become a key member of the team and help define the teams roadmap * Build ROI models for Limelight Edge Compute versus DIY or Public Cloud solutions. * Work with Product Marketing team as required to help develop marketing collateral for the Edge Compute team. Qualifications: Experience and Education (minimums) * Enrolled in a Bachelors program in business/technology related. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Understanding of basic compute / cloud/networking terminology and technology * Good analytical skills; financial modeling, TCO / ROI analysis * Proficient with spreadsheets, presentations * Ability to collect, process, summarize and present information clearly and concisely with conclusions and recommendations * Strong communication and presentation skills and collaborate effectively with team members
