Keeping plant machinery and equipment in good condition by locating faulty parts through self discipline troubleshooting process, replacing worn and broken parts and making proper adjustments Making routine checks and inspections through a maintenance work order system to determine operating condition of equipment and performing proper repair and service of equipment including oiling and greasing when necessary. Structuring, assembling and installing various types of equipment, working from blueprints or sketches; installing and moving plant machinery Work and communicate directly with operations, facility support staff and contracted service providers to complete job responsibilities. Understand and use supporting job related tools of the trade and processes including in-house spare part inventory system and in-house computer systems. Ensures a safe work environment by learning required PPE.
