The successful candidate for this position will be an employee of Holtzbrinck Publishing Holdings LP. We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our fast-paced department. This is a high visibility, high volume position that supports the department and helps maintain organization (please note, this is a part time intern role for 25 hours a week and is open to those candidates who are currently enrolled in graduate or undergraduate school). Major Responsibilities: * Support Head of Human Resources/Schedule meetings and interviews * Provide back-up coverage for the HR Assistant * Handle expense reports * Answer phones in HR Department * Respond to general employee inquiries * Support HR Department with ad hoc tasks, as needed * Maintain employee files/administrative tasks as assigned * Ensure all confidential information is secured at the end of the day Required Skills / Knowledge: * Excellent organizational and follow up skills, including ability to prioritize and manage time effectively * Candidates should work efficiently, adapt easily, and be able to multi-task * Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional computer skills * Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion * Candidates should have the desire to learn about all aspects of HR Experience Needed: * Prior experience interning or working in an administrative capacity preferred Educational Background Required: * Some college preferred Macmillan - 19 hours ago - save job - original job Apply Now Apply On Company Site Save this job
