The successful candidate for this position will be an employee of Macmillan Publishing Group, LLC Requirements Position Description: The National Accounts Assistant Childrens will provide general support and assistance to three Managers. This includes the gathering and assembling of sales materials for sales appointments, communicating with MPS and accounts on operational issues, and creating sales reports for use by the sales department and the publishers. Major Responsibilities: Sales reports gathering sales data from accounts and distributing that data internally. Reports are done on a weekly basis, as well as on a daily basis for key titles. Sales kits assembling the material each Manager needs for their monthly or bi-monthly appointments, as well as communicating with the publisher when material is needed. Sales presentations creating a PowerPoint presentation of key titles each season for use by the National Accounts Managers. Operational issues placing key orders with MPS and tracking their shipments for accounts. Miscellaneous projects assisting the National Accounts Managers with a variety of projects which arise throughout the season. Required Skills / Knowledge: Strong multitasking skills in a fast paced environment Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently Superior verbal and written communication skills Great attention to detail Microsoft Office programs Experience Needed: One year of publishing experience a plus Educational Background Required: Bachelors Degree
