McAfees Return to Work program is looking for talented and experienced professionals who are re-entering the workforce after having a minimum break of 1-2 years. This is a 12-week paid apprenticeship in our Hillsboro, OR office, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of business specific projects, participate in targeted trainings, network and grow within our innovative and progressive cyber security industry. In addition to providing the tools and support needed to re-enter the workforce, we are ultimately looking to grow our permanent McAfee family. Who You Are * Minimum 1-2 year break in service from workforce * Available for FT work (with flexibility) from September 24 December 14 * Prior experience in US Benefits * Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment * Strong communications skills * Strategic thinker with a can-do and creative mindset * Detail-oriented and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously * Passionate to learn more about the cybersecurity and technology industry Responsibilities * Manage leave of absences for both Canada and US. * Prepare and manage invoice and PO process for all US/Canada benefit vendors * Audit weekly eligibility files including error reports from vendor. * Ensure Benefits Intranet pages are updated and maintained regularly. * Document processes of functional area. Provide suggestions for continuous improvements, work closely with payroll and HR Services. * Reconcile records to ensure accuracy of employee information, using Workday (HRIS) and ensure timely payment of vendor/consultant/insurance company invoices * Provide communication regarding general enquiries, including benefit programs, employee induction, on-line resources, etc. Respond, track issues and resolutions. * Assist with implementation of approved benefit plan design changes and annual contract renewals. * Assist the Benefits Lead with benchmarking, to ensure competitive practices are being met and maintained * Participation on special projects and global program roll-outs, as and when required. * Participate in targeted trainings Qualifications * College degree in Business, Comms, HR or equivalent military or other experience. * Experience in US benefits administration.
