Television Broadcast Intern (Fall/Spring) - Miami Heat Miami HEAT 24 reviews - Miami, FL 33132 Internship Description of the Internship- The Miami Heat is offering an exciting opportunity to intern for one of the NBA's premiere television broadcast teams. Candidates will be asked to assist in the preparation for over 75 NBA games televised on Fox Sports Sun. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Gathering materials for Pre and Post-Game shows, recording games and logging highlights, labeling and organizing an extensive tape library, researching and requesting materials for opponents, archiving historical moments and serving as a runner. Interns will also have the opportunity to cover practice, participate in Media Day, interview sessions, film shoots, and a variety of other activities involving team personnel. Candidates are required to work up to 20 hours per week for this paid internship. Participants must have strong computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities and knowledge of basketball.
