DESCRIPTION Michael Baker International is recruiting for a talented and organized LiDAR Technician to join our Geospatial Department, on a temporary basis, in the Moon Township office. The candidate must possess a strong background in MicroStation, AutoCAD ESRI Products and GIS. * Responsibilities include processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to LiDAR mapping products; * Classification of LiDAR point clouds; * Extraction of mapping features, planimetrics, and breaklines from LiDAR point clouds. * Responsibilities also might include photogrammetry work that includes compilation of data and ortho editing. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS * High School Diploma * 0+ years of experience with geographic concepts or GIS software. Must be capable of the basic operation of a windows-based personal computer.
