    Executive Assistant to the VP of Software Engineering Product Development San Luis Obispo, California Description The Executive Assistant for the VP of Software Engineering coordinates performs and supervises communication and administrative office duties in support of the Product Development department. This individual will organize meetings, track and display department metrics, coordinate travel plans, and monitor day-to-day operations by fielding and following-up aspects related to the large operations of the department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional related work experience and a high school diploma * 1+ year of full-time administrative or executive assistant experience * Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy, maintaining the highest confidentiality and professionalism on all matters. * High ability to work independently and use appropriate discretionary judgment. * Superior communication, including both verbal and written. * Strong professionalism and an energetic positive attitude. * Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-up skills. * Driven self-starter, with a proactive approach to work. Handling emergent and unique issues without requiring specific direction. * Ability to interact with staff and clients in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, calm, and efficient. * Flexibility to work hours outside of a standard workday; sometimes with very short notice. * Solid technology and internet skills * Typing: 40-60 WPM required PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Scheduling various non-department head team members for select meetings * Organize and schedule departmental functions and celebrations * Process expenses and reimbursements for department team members including but not limited to per diem requests, travel, conferences, furniture, supplies and software/hardware * Secretarial duties including meeting minutes, document follow-up items, and substitute attendance upon occasion * Communication, coordination, and follow up between team members for meetings, conferences, events, and more * On-going management of various data and analytics projects around MINDBODY products and internal tools * Support for various tasks assigned by supervisor as needed
