Business Systems Analyst, HR IT/Engineering San Luis Obispo, California Description MINDBODYs IT Business Systems team is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst II specializing in HRIS administration. This is a full-time position in IT Business Systems, which partners with internal business teams such as People and Culture and Finance. You must possess a strong knowledge of HRIS applications and a deep understanding of HR and Human Capital Management, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Workforce management processes. You must possess a broad background in information technology, a practical understanding of how businesses work, as well excellent problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors Degree required. MIS or related field preferred. * 1-2+ years experience with HRIS administration, including business systems API integrations, user administration, customization and reporting. * 1-2 years experience working with Ceridian/Dayforce preferred or comparable HRIS platforms * Strong understanding of business units (Finance, HR, etc.) and their processes. * Excellent oral and written communication/documentation skills. * Excellent understanding of IT business processes * Proven track record in driving results; ability to coordinate and prioritize concurrent activities within a deadline-driven climate. * Familiarity with custom API integrations & troubleshooting * Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams. * Shows tenacity in resolving technical problems and attaining business objectives. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Run and maintain Ceridian Dayforce tools. * Follow strict Change Management and Controls/Compliance. * System updates and enhancements. * Management of integrations between business systems. * Administration of new accounts/accounting codes, updating existing information. * System Upgrades: oversee all upgrades to the HRIS to ensure the team is prepared for the new changes and all workflows are updated accordingly. * System customizations: Follow change process management, to configure system allowing the team to run more efficiently. * Collaborate with the fellow BSAs and partners in Finance to assist in implementing any new tools, processes. * Identify and track potential system issues/bugs/problems and escalate as necessary. * Should be self-driven, good communicator and a team player. * Partner with the various departments to define and document process, strive for operational excellence and translate business problems into solutions. * Develop and provide training to a variety of user audiences that have a variety of technical skill levels. * Manage multiple small to medium-scope projects, including requirements gathering, developing work breakdowns and project plans, track task status, and escalate as needed to keep projects on schedule * Define and document processes, capture functional requirements and create process flows. * Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams. * Shows tenacity in resolving technical problems and attaining business objectives.
