Accounting/Finance Intern Finance/Accounting San Luis Obispo, California Description The Accounting/Finance Intern will assist the MINDBODY Accounting/Finance Teams in various projects and month end tasks. These may include but are not limited to tasks related to reporting, billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This position will provide the opportunity to apply knowledge acquired in the classroom while gaining skills and experience to prepare for a career in accounting or a related field. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: * In pursuit of a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related fields (Equivalent work experience can be substituted for college experience.)

• Accounting I & II classes have been taken and passed * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once * Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a diverse group * Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and professionally both internally and externally * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support accounting team during monthly and yearly financial close * Assist with daily and monthly tracking of cash receipts, including deposits in transit * Assist with requests related to quarterly and annual audits * Work within billing and accounting software on a daily basis * Aid with departmental projects as needed (Reporting, Billing, Accounts Payable, etc.)
