Social Media and Marketing Intern Mintaka Healing & Communications, LLC
- Madison, WI 53715 Full-time, Internship If youre a strong writer and
marketing professional looking to grow with a company who promotes and
supports holistic health and wellness, lets talk! At Mintaka Healing &
Communications, LLC, were seeking our first-ever Social Media &
Marketing Intern, who would work with us 4-5 hours per week. This person
would manage our social media accounts, assist with graphic design,
write blog posts, and make content updates to the website.
Qualifications: * Bachelors in Communications, Marketing, Public
Relations, Media Studies, English, or a related field (obtained or
in-progress) with at least a 3.0 major GPA * Fabulous writer and editor,
with an understanding of who their audience is * Detail-oriented and
motivated with ability to work independently * Receives critique and
compassionate, constructive feedback well * Passionate about learning
and personal growth * Strong eye for graphic design * Interest in
holistic health and wellness * Ability to provide own laptop computer
Nice-to-Haves: * Fluent in Spanish, ideally a native speaker or with C1
or C2 fluency * Prior experience with social media management (Facebook,
Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) * Knowledge of WordPress, especially Divi
- Familiarity with Canva and other image manipulation platforms *
Previous exposure to Reiki, tarot, crystal healing, or other similar
modalities Compensation: While this internship is unpaid in the
traditional sense, our Marketing Intern will be compensated in the
following ways: * Resume review and coaching * Career coaching and
strategic planning * Assistance and guidance in developing a
professional portfolio * Biweekly Reiki (or health coaching) sessions,
if desired * Professional reference letter * Ability to work remotely,
with flexible hours Timeline: * 3-month internship beginning October 1,
2018, with the possibility of staying on in 2019 We are a startup just
actively starting to get our brand out there, so our Marketing Intern
will be working directly with our company founder, Kelly Noel Rasmussen,
who has worked full-time with a startup marketing agency for the last 15
months and has worked as a marketing professional (Account Coordinator,
Business Manager, Content Development, Public Relations Specialist,
Social Media Manager) for the last 4+ years. As such, our intern will
have the opportunity to learn a lot about marketing and entrepreneurship
