POSITION: CNA-CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT POSITION STATUS: FULL-TIME JOB LOCATION: SOUTH BAY/LOS ANGELES - INGLEWOOD, OLYMPIC, FAIRFAX, SANTA MONICA/EAST HOLLYWOOD

We are seeking a CNA in South Bay/Los Angles (incl. clinic sites Inglewood, Olympic, Fairfax, Santa Monica/East Hollywood, as deemed necessary).

Facilitates the delivery of direct patient care by performing routine patient care, procedures and supportive functions in the clinic setting, under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician/PAC/NP/RN/LVN, and within regulatory scope of practice. Job description and duties will be reviewed upon hire and those for which a competence is needed, will be verified before performing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Obtain vital signs from patients. Prepare and review chart notes. These shall be according to clinic policy and procedures.

• Assist physician/PAC/NP/RN/LVN with procedures and/or diagnostic examinations.

• Translate for physician/PAC/NP/RN/LVN and patient.

• Room patients, assigned to all Providers

• Stock and supply patient rooms

• Knows location, purpose and use of all equipment and supplies.

• Assist with ordering supplies.

• Clean and autoclave instruments, maintaining proper procedure and log.

• Maintain the back office, doctor offices, and patient rooms, clean and orderly, and document necessary room disinfecting logs.

• Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH), REQUIRED. • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA from a WASC accredited School. (GED not accepted) • CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT DIPLOMA AND ACTIVE CNA LICENSE • Minimum 1+ year experience as a CNA in a medical outpatient clinic setting (*required) • Knowledge of Health Plans; Medical, CHDP, CovCA, MHLA, etc • Must have current driver license, insurance and own reliable transportation • WILLING TO ASSIST IN COVERAGE AT OTHER CLINICS, AS DEEMED NECESSARY BY ORGANIZATIONAL NEEDS
